Casten, Neguse, and Bonamici Introduce Legislation to Address Climate Censorship at Federal Agencies
Today, U.S. Representatives Sean Casten (IL-06), Joe Neguse (CO-02), and Suzanne Bonamici (OR-01), introduced legislation to address climate censorship at federal agencies, the Stop Climate Censorship Act requires any political appointee at a federal agency seeking to remove content regarding climate change in a scientific study or press release to publicly provide the underlying scientific reason for doing so.

U.S. Representatives Sean Casten (D-IL), Bill Foster (D-IL), and U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley (D-OR) introduced the Investor Choice Act, which would prohibit pre-dispute mandatory (or “forced”) arbitration agreements and ban prohibitions on class action lawsuits in customer contracts that investors often must enter into in order to receive services from broker-dealers or investment advisers.
