Geneva CUSD 304 recently highlighted student achievements and community events in a series of social media posts, including recognition for a Geneva High School senior and announcements about a fundraising game to support pediatric cancer initiatives.

On September 18, 2025, the district posted: " Huge congrats to GHS senior Miles Sheppard for being selected in the Top Ten of the Week 2 Student Photography Contest! Hosted by the Kane County Regional Office of Education, this is an incredible achievement! #Geneva304 #AllTogetherNow @KaneCountyROE https://t.co/aqMIOjhZG9". The recognition was part of a contest organized by the Kane County Regional Office of Education.

The following day, on September 19, Geneva CUSD 304 promoted an upcoming sports event with charitable aims. The post read: "Will you be at the games?? 4:30 & 7 PM at Burgess Field. It's a special game - a Gold Out for Pediatric Cancer to benefit Cal's Angels. If you can't make it you can stream it on the GTV YouTube channel (select Live tab). Video produced by GHS student Julia Leiderman #GoVikings https://t.co/wUFCFKU5lc".

Later that day, another post provided further details about the fundraising event’s origins: " Curious about the Gold Out Game's origin? Hear it from the creator herself, Brooke Copeland. It's a special fundraising event for Cal's Angels, dedicated to fighting pediatric cancer. #Geneva304 #GoVikings @CalsAngels".

Geneva Community Unit School District 304 serves students in Geneva and Kane County. One of its schools, Geneva Middle School South, had an enrollment of 638 students during the 2019-2020 school year and served grades six through eight (Illinois Report Card). During that period, grade seven had the highest concentration with nearly one-third of all students enrolled (Illinois Report Card). The school population was predominantly white at over eighty percent in that academic year (Illinois Report Card).
