Former South Elgin High School standout Bella Florio played on Friday, May 16 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division III Softball Championship

On Friday, May 16, former South Elgin High School standout Bella Florio’s current collegiate team the UW Eau Claire Blugolds won 8-7 against the Baldwin Wallace Yellow Jackets in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at SportONE - Parkview Softball Field at 4:05 p.m. and was the second matchup against the Baldwin Wallace Yellow Jackets in the tournament.

The UW Eau Claire Blugolds’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 11 a.m. at SportONE - Parkview Softball Field.
