Geneva has partnered with Recycle Coach to help residents reduce household waste and improve their recycling habits. The partnership offers residents access to the Recycle Coach portal through the City's website or via a mobile app. This free platform provides disposal information for various household items, specifically tailored to Geneva's refuse program and local drop-off locations.

The app includes a collection schedule indicating when trash, recycling, and yard waste pickups, including holidays, will take place each week. Additionally, the calendar notes Geneva's monthly brush and fall leaf collection programs, as well as recycling events hosted by Kane County. Residents can also set reminders for their scheduled pickups and local events on their mobile devices.

Recycle Coach features a Discovery Zone, which includes educational materials about recycling, misunderstood materials, activities for children, sustainability articles, and other informative tips for community awareness.

For further details on Geneva's waste and recycling initiatives, residents can visit the City's website or contact the Public Works Department at 630-232-1501.
