The Village of Gilberts Utilities Division has announced a schedule for flushing water mains and inspecting hydrants, starting on April 14th. Signs will be installed in neighborhoods in advance to inform residents about the commencement of the flushing process in their areas. The flushing will take place from Monday to Friday, between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Residents are reassured that the water will remain safe to drink during these hours, though there might be temporary discoloration. It is recommended to refrain from washing light-colored clothing during the flushing period to prevent discoloration.
