Central Community Unit School District 301 recently shared updates and achievements via social media, highlighting the accomplishments of its students and teams. The district's posts covered a range of events, from dance competitions to academic celebrations.

On January 30, 2025, the district expressed excitement for the Central Rockets Dance Team as they prepared for their first-ever State Championship. "GO ROCKETS! Who's excited to see if this group can bring home our first ever State Championship?? Today, the Central Rockets Dance Team had their traditional State Send off at CHS. Break a leg in Bloomington!"

The following day, on January 31, 2025, academic excellence was celebrated at Central Middle School with an event recognizing eighth-grade students. "WITH HONORS! Academic excellence was recognized this morning at CMS with our 8th grade students and their families during a breakfast celebration!"

Later that day, the district highlighted the participation of the Girls Wrestling team in the IHSA Regional competition in Rock Falls. Additionally, it announced the upcoming performance of their dance team at the IHSA Competitive Dance State Finals Preliminary Round. "LUNCHTIME LINEUP: Let's hear it for your Girls Wrestling team! They're off to the IHSA Regional today in Rock Falls." The post continued by noting that "Coming up in 37 minutes, we take the floor to perform at the IHSA Competitive Dance State Finals Preliminary Rd."
