Central Community Unit School District 301 has recently shared updates on its activities and new members through a series of tweets. These posts highlight the district's ongoing initiatives and events, as well as providing insights into the school's community engagement.

On November 18, 2024, Central Community Unit School District 301 introduced Jacqueline Mowers, a new fourth-grade teacher at Howard B. Thomas Grade School. In their tweet, they stated: "ON BOARD IN '24! This fall we are meeting the newest members of the Central 301 family who are 'On Board in '24' every Wednesday and Sunday night."

Later that day, the district announced the commencement of the Mark Einwich Girls Basketball Thanksgiving Tournament on Rocket Hill with games scheduled in both the main gym and fieldhouse. The tweet read: "LUNCHTIME LINEUP: Day 1 of the Mark Einwich Girls Basketball Thanksgiving Tournament on Rocket Hill. We have games in main gym and the fieldhouse this evening. Central makes their season debut tomorrow."
