On Friday, March 8, former Lake Park High School standout Nadia Melendez’s current college team, the Waubonsee Chiefs, lost 6-5 in their NJCAA game against the Penn State New Kensington Nittany Lions.

The game took place in Clermont, Florida. This was their first matchup against the Penn State New Kensington Nittany Lions this season.

The Chiefs’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 8 at 4:15 p.m. in Clermont, Florida against Rochester Tech Yellowjackets.
