On Thursday, January 11, former Bartlett High School standouts Ian Smith and Marty McCarthy’s current college team, the Elgin Spartans, won 85-79 in their NJCAA game against the Oakton Owls.

The game took place in Des Plaines, Illinois. This was the first matchup against the Oakton Owls this season.

The Elgin Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, January 18 at 7:15 p.m. in Sugar Grove, Illinois.
