City of Geneva City Council met Feb. 5.

9. COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE ITEMS OF BUSINESS

*a. Approve Resolution No. 2024-09 Authorizing Execution of a Contract with Premier Roofing Design in the Amount of $199,000.00 for Skylight Replacement and Roof Restoration at Public Works Facility 1800 South Street.

*b. Approve Resolution No. 2024-10 Authorizing Execution of a Contract with Fehr Graham in an Amount Not to Exceed $32,000.00 for Kautz Road Lift Station Improvement Design Engineering.

*c. Approve Resolution No. 2024-11 Awarding Contract to Meade Electric in an Amount Not to Exceed $423,555.00 for Geneva Business Park III General Construction.

*d. Approve Resolution No. 2024-12 Awarding Contract to L&S Electric Inc. in the Amount of $77,900.00 for Geneva Business Park I and II Substation Maintenance.

*e. Approve Resolution No. 2024-13 Awarding Contract to Meade Electric in an Amount Not to Exceed $166,545.00 for General Mills 34.5 KV Expansion.

*f. Approve Ordinance No. 2024-01 - An Ordinance Authorizing and Providing for the Issuance of Not to Exceed $30,000,000 General Obligation Bonds (Alternate Revenue Source) of the City of Geneva, Kane County, Illinois, for the Purpose of Paying the Costs of Improving the Electric System of Said City, Prescribing the Details of Said Bonds and Providing for Collection, Segregation and Application of Electric System Revenues to the Payment of Said Bonds and the Levy of Taxes Sufficient to Pay Said Bonds if Such Revenues are Insufficient for Such Payment and Providing for the Sale of Said Bonds to the Purchaser Thereof.

a. Consider Resolution No. 2024-14 Approving Use of Public Right of Ways and City Services, and IDOT Resolutions(Res. 2024-15, 2024-16, 2024-17, 2024-18) for 2024 City Festivals and Certain Large-Scale Events.

b. Consider Resolution No. 2024-19 Authorizing Execution of Change Order No. 2 with Boller Construction Co. Inc. in an Amount Not to Exceed $154,929.00 for Wastewater Digester Cleaning and Inspection.

c. Consider Resolution No. 2024-20 Authorizing Change Order No. 3 with Bollinger, Lach, and Associates in the Amount of $55,110.00 for East State Street Phase II Engineering Services.

d. Consider Resolution No. 2024-21 Authorizing Execution of Changer Order No. 1 with Martam Construction for Route 25 Water Main Project Increasing the Overall Contract to the Not to Exceed Amount of $1,662,958.85.

e. Consider Resolution No. 2024-22 Waiving Competitive Bidding and Awarding Purchase of Eight Concrete Underground Switch Vaults to Utility Concrete Products in the Amount of $27,794.00.

f. Consider Resolution No. 2024-23 Authorizing Execution of the Third Amendment to Master Purchase and Sale Agreement Between Union Pacific Railroad Company and the City of Geneva.

g. Consider Resolution No. 2024-24 Adopting the FY 2025 City of Geneva Budget.
