Aris Garcia, a candidate for the 49th House District, has shared on social media about his official endorsement by Veterans For America First and Veterans For Trump. He expressed his pride in joining other conservative Republicans endorsed by these groups and reaffirmed his commitment to the America First Agenda.

"Endorsement: I am proud to join conservative [R]epublicans such as Darren Bailey by receiving the official endorsement from Veterans For America First, Veterans For Trump," he said on Facebook.

He also quoted Jared Craig of the Veterans for America First National Chapter who said, "Jared Craig, of Veterans for America First National Chapter announces the endorsement of State House Candidate Aris Garcia of Illinois D-49. Garcia, being a first generation citizen and son of immigrants to this country understands the beauty and benefit of the America First Agenda."

In a video posted on YouTube, Craig formally endorsed Garcia, praising him as a first-generation citizen and son of immigrants who understands the benefits of the America First Agenda. He labeled Garcia as the America First Candidate for the 49th House District and asserted that he would represent constituents as both a friend and neighbor. In response to this endorsement, Garcia outlined his vision for his district.

"The first thing I’m going to do is bring back jobs, bring back American manufacturing," Garcia said. As a senior manager in a local manufacturing company, he understands firsthand how challenging the employment situation is in Illinois.

"We’re struggling," he continued. "Everyone around us is struggling because of the suppressive laws that are coming out of an Illinois Democrat-controlled State House and governorship from top to bottom. And we’re not going to be able to keep providing jobs. And with less jobs, we’re going to have less money coming in to provide for our schools."

Furthermore, Garcia criticized restrictions imposed by Democrats on gun access. He argued that these laws disproportionately affect legal residents and gun owners rather than criminals.

"Criminals don’t listen to laws," he pointed out. "Who are you punishing? It is the legal residents like myself, legal gun owners, and not the criminals. That’s what I stand for. And that’s why I’m running for state rep in District 49."

Garcia, who immigrated from Germany as a first-generation American, has announced his candidacy for State Representative. He aims to address concerns he believes the Democratic party has overlooked. As a graduate of the Central Florida Aerospace Academy, Garcia brings a unique perspective to politics and is committed to tackling issues affecting education in his district. According to his website, Garcia's stance reflects his commitment to holding politicians accountable for their actions, particularly those who prioritize personal interests over community needs.

The 49th District, currently represented by State Rep. Maura Hirschauer (D-Batavia), includes parts of Batavia, West Chicago, South Elgin, Wayne, Bartlett, and portions of Aurora and Geneva according to Ballotpedia. Hirschauer has announced her intention to run for re-election in the Democratic primary scheduled on March 19.
