6. Monthly Financial Reports
A. Monthly Finance Reports
Chairman Surges stated the monthly financial reports were on file. No additional report was made.
7. Department of Human Resource Management
A. Monthly Blue Cross Blue Shield Invoice
HRM Exec. Dir. Lobrillo stated the monthly Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) invoice is on file. The invoice is within tolerance at $1.4M.
B. Monthly BCBS and MERP Totals
HRM Exec. Dir. Lobrillo stated there are 68 members enrolled in MERP. This is a slight decline from last month's enrollees.
C. Monthly Assured Partners Report
HRM Exec. Dir. Lobrillo stated that the 2023 Global Tracker has been trending in the green so far this year. There are bills still coming in, so this number will fluctuate. However, this has been trending as expected.
D. Monthly Workers Comp and Liability Reports
HRM Exec. Dir. Lobrillo stated the monthly Worker's Compensation and Liability Reports were within tolerance. She spoke on the resolution placed later in the agenda packet regarding the continued relationship with Cannon Cochran Management Services, Inc. (CCMSI).
E. Monthly Applicants and Staff Changes
HRM Exec. Dir. Lobrillo explained that the County has been receiving a good amount of applications. She stated the New Hires and Termination Report was included in the agenda packet. Lobrillo addressed questions and comments from the Committee. Discussion ensued on the needs of the current job market. (Committee Member Allan arrived in-person at 9:07 a.m.)

8. Compliance
A. Monthly Training Report
HRM Exec. Dir. Lobrillo explained that starting in August 2023, she will be following up with those employees that have not completed the annual State-mandated Sexual Harassment Training. Currently, 1K employees have completed the training.
9. Old Business
A. Authorizing the County to Contract with Humana Inc. to Provide the 2024 Healthcare Continuation Coverage for Medicare Eligible Retired and Disabled Employees and Surviving Spouses
HRM Exec. Dir. provided additional information on this resolution. (Madam Chairman Pierog arrived in-person at 9:09 a.m.) She addressed questions and comments from the Committee. Discussion ensued.

10. Reports Placed On File
Before the Committee voted to put the reports on file, Surges mentioned that a Special County Board meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 to discuss the potential insurance providers for Kane County. He stated that this meeting is being held for all Board Members to look into both Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) and UnitedHealthcare (UHC). Surges and Lobrillo addressed questions and comments from the Committee on the steps taken with the insurance providers. Discussion ensued.
