Kane County Consolidated Election Day is one week away, on April 4

Kane County municipal officials, including mayors, village board members and school board members, are on the ballot on April 4, the first Tuesday in April.

A total of 398 candidates will compete for 145 municipal offices, including 43 contests for city and village, 45 for park, fire and library boards and 35 for school boards.

There are no voter referendums on the April 4 ballot.

In 2021, the last Kane County Consolidated Election, it had 318,299 registered voters and 35,770 cast ballots, or 11.24 percent.

In the 2019 Kane County Consolidated Election, it had 317,523 registered voters and 31,447 cast ballots, or 9.9 percent.
