Judson then scored its second touchdown of the game with an eight-yard Siebens reception from Miller to make the score 30-13. The Cougars scored another touchdown before the end of the third quarter. Malik Rowe (2-2) had a tackle for a loss and a fumble recovery, while Jacob Slonski had three total tackles (1-2), including a tackle for a loss.
"We played really hard against a very good team," said Head Coach Dan Paplaczyk. "We had some opportunities to make plays that we missed on both sides of the ball. St. Francis is as good as their ranking. We've got to clean up the mistakes and do the little things to beat a team like that. We improved a lot from last game, and the team responded to my challenge of coming out playing hard for 4 quarters."
Judson hosts Madonna next Saturday for homecoming beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Streamwood High School in Streamwood, IL.
