Mark Carroll for Congress has issued the following press release:
North Aurora, IL, June 27th, 2022 – There was much ado about Illinois’ 11th Congressional District on Sunday, June 26, as Republican candidate Mark Joseph Carroll campaigned in the northern-most and southern-most regions of the district. In Bolingbrook, the town had their annual family picnic where a few thousand people were in attendance. Geneva rounded out Swedish Days with a Parade to the tune of an estimated 3000-5000 onlookers, while Belvidere continued Heritage Days with a parade that had an estimated 8000 people in attendance. What a Sunday!
“I love America. It is truly something to see how free we are! When walking in a parade meeting and greeting the masses, you realize that we are truly lucky to have to freedoms that we sometimes take for granted,” said Carroll. “For an hour or two we are all gathered in a town to enjoy the company of each other in an environment devoid of aggression, hostility, and major stress.”
“I did meet some people with viewpoints opposite of mine in, but in at all three events in Will, Kane, and Boone counties, the focus was on happiness and coming together in the celebration of our freedoms rather than the hostilities of the news cycle,” stated Carroll. “I am the lone candidate from the eleventh district with the right kind of well-rounded experience to serve that sacred trust of the people. I have shown that I will work tirelessly - I have been able to make that connection in understanding the needs necessary for our district to flourish.”
“What a fly-over in Belvidere!” proclaimed Carroll. “The three aircraft, with smoke trailing, were only a couple hundred feet above us! It sure looked like they energized the crowd while we were walking through. Everybody was smiling, waving, and shaking hands, no doubt enjoying the music from our parade vehicle which was primarily blasting God Bless the U.S.A. and Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue. Those are two of my favorites!”
“Here’s the deal, this is a serious job for a serious person. It is going to take more than sound bites, principled kindness, or news cycle reactions to beat the democratic incumbent come November,” stated Carroll. “I have the Constitutional knowledge, experience, and Republican support to be strong for our Conservative values. Make no mistake these values will be attacked sternly, in debate, media, or other fashion. There is no underestimating what the democrats will do to hold on to this seat! They will try every trick in the book - the fight for the right will be tough. We have to act together now to be able to act together on DAY ONE in office. Please vote Mark Joseph Carroll for Congress in the eleventh district on June 28th .”
