The Batavia Fireworks Committee (ten hard-working citizens of Batavia) has to raise $40,000 each year to put on this amazing show that sets off fireworks to music. Taxpayer dollars have NEVER been used to pay for these fireworks; therefore, each year new monies have to be raised to make this annual tradition in our town possible. Presently, we are several thousand dollars short of our goal for delivering another fabulous Sky Concert on July 4th.
Local citizens can help us raise these dollars:
1. By giving a donation of $25 or more to the Batavia Fireworks, you will receive a beautiful yard sign which shows your support for the 2022 Batavia Fireworks show
*Go to bataviafireworks.org, complete the JotForm along with your payment and a sign will be delivered to your front yard
*Stop by City Hall (Monday-Friday 9:00am-4:00pm); go upstairs to the Utility Billing department where you can pay for a sign and take one home (checks should be made to Batavia Fireworks)
2. By throwing in some money or scanning the bar code of the donation jar in the following locations to help us pay for our fireworks this year: City of Batavia, Limestone Coffee and Tea, Mike Burke Salon, Pal Joey’s, Crosstown Pub, Batavia Chamber of Commerce, K. Hollis Jewelers, Lumes, Daddios Diner, Riverside Pizza, Batavia Creamery, Brianna’s, Windmill Grille and Pizzeria, Red Hive Market, Sidecar Supper Club, Bar Evolution, Salon by the River, Six Cypress, R&S Liquor, and the Batavia Woman’s Club (at their monthly meetings)
3. If you are a business owner, you might also wish to consider being a sponsor for our fireworks show. There are three levels of sponsorship: Gold ($5000), Silver ($2500), and Bronze ($1500), plus the Flag Level ($500). For the Gold, Silver and Bronze levels, you will receive a banner with your business name and logo which will be displayed on the fence at Engstrom Park throughout the 4th of July holiday period. For the Flag Level, your name will be added to other companies’ names on a banner at the same location. All sponsors will be promoted on our website, Facebook page, and in the paper programs distributed at the Sky Concert. Thank you for considering this option of giving, also.
4. By making a donation of any amount on our website (www.bataviafireworks.org)
PLEASE consider volunteering to help the Fireworks Committee on the evening of July 4th. We need many hands to make this event possible.
If you lead a not-for-profit group who would like to help man our parking lots on July 4th, 10% of monies earned at those lots will be returned to your organization.
If you know of a delicious food truck who could contribute to our Taste of Batavia food options for the night of the 4th, please let us know.
