Batavia MainStreet is thrilled to announce the return of the Batavia Dinner Table after a two-year hiatus. This will be the fifth annual Batavia Dinner Table starting at 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7 on Downtown Batavia’s North River Street Woonerf.
The funds from the 200-person, family-style farm to table community gathering each year, are donated to the Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry, in Downtown Batavia. To date, nearly $39,000 has been contributed from this locally-sourced and prepared, volunteer-served meal.
The Batavia Dinner Table is a shared table experience where individuals can dine and mingle with neighbors at one long table. The food is farm to table and much of the ingredients are sourced from the Batavia Farmers’ Market vendors. Downtown Batavia restaurants and chefs will prepare the food for the dining experience.
Tickets include a multi-course dinner and beverages for $85 each. The dinner does include wine and beer service, so we do require that all attendees be 21 years of age and older. Seating is limited, and tickets will sell out. We recommend purchasing right away.
A limited number of Cocktail in the Park / Dinner Table ticket combination $125 per person will go on sale at 8 am on May 31st. Visit our Instagram (@downtownbatavia) or Facebook (@bataviamainstreet) on that day for a link to make this purchase. The individual tickets for both events will become available June 1st on our website www.downtownbatavia.com Dinner Table tickets $85 and Cocktails in the Park $40 per person.
This event is made possible thanks to sponsors: Aldi USA, Batavia Enterprises, K. Hollis Jewelers, Waste Management, Dirty Clay & Co., Spillane & Sons Building and Remodeling, The Tea Tree, Waveform LLC, Kane County Chronicle, and April Duda Photography.
