The Judson University Baseball Team played a tough opponent: Olivet Nazarene University which had won its last 19 games heading into today's contest. The Eagles were able to score six runs against the Tigers, but could not hold their offense in a 13-6 loss on Tuesday.
Dayne Frederick had an RBI single for Judson to get on the board in the second inning. The Eagles added a run in the sixth inning on a Jordan Babcock bases-loaded walk. In the ninth, Connor Wiegman and Timothy Ellinger each had two-run RBI singles in the ninth for Judson.
Ellinger, Weigman, Cameron Pauly and Tommy Moran had two-hit games for Judson. Pauly and Moran also scored a pair of runs for Judson. Greg Boyce got the start for Judson and allowed five runs on five hits while walking two and striking out one in an inning of work.
Judson (15-22, 13-10 CCAC) faces TIU at home for a single nine-inning game on Thursday.
