Danielle Casali, Adjunct Instructor of Art, recently unveiled a public mosaic mural in Hinckley, supported by Harvesting Our Future with a grant from the DeKalb County Community Foundation. Casali led workshops over two years with community volunteers who cut stained glass and mirror by hand onto large-scale drawings, then installed the design permanently onto the wall at 100 E. Lincoln Ave. The finished mural, 300 feet long and 30 feet high, illustrates the culture and history of the town.
