Congratulations to Rookies All-American Pub & Grill!
The Batavia Chamber of Commerce, along with the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, celebrated the opening of Batavia Chamber member Rookies All-American Pub & Grill in the Fox Valley Ice Arena, Geneva with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, January 20.
Rookies took over management of the restaurant space that overlooks the NHL-sized rink last summer. After renovation, the new Geneva location of the popular suburban chain of sports bars is now open at 1996 S. Kirk Road.
Batavia Mayor Jeffery Schielke and Geneva Mayor Kevin Burns welcomed Bob Karas, owner, and Grant Werner, executive chef and partner of Rookies in Geneva, wishing them success with their latest location. Along with staff of both chambers, those in attendance included Craig Welker, general manager of the Fox Valley Ice Arena and Dan Lehv, president of the Chicago Steel, as well as family, friends, and the Steel mascot, Rusty.
Rookies All-American Pub & Grill is open daily except Tuesdays, beginning at 11 a.m. Closing hour varies. Visit rookiespub.com to view a menu and exact daily hours. The phone number for Rookies in Geneva is (630) 402-0468.
