The third quarter of 2021: Home prices in Aurora (Kendall County) increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Aurora in Kendall County rose by $62,250 while total sales increased by 40%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were 42 homes sold, with a median sale price of $278,750 - a 28.8% increase over the $216,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 30 homes sold in Aurora in the third quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Aurora for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $8,852, approximately 3.2% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
