The first half of 2021: Home prices in Aurora (Kendall County) increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in Aurora in Kendall County rose by $46,750 while total sales increased by 32.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were 45 homes sold, with a median sale price of $300,000 - a 18.5% increase over the $253,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 34 homes sold in Aurora in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Aurora for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $8,852, approximately 3% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
