The first half of 2021: Home prices in Gilberts increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in Gilberts rose by $47,000 while total sales increased by 79.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were 95 homes sold, with a median sale price of $267,500 - a 21.3% increase over the $220,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 53 homes sold in Gilberts in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Gilberts for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $6,983, approximately 2.6% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
