Agenda Item 10: Municipal Bills for Payment
1) Wills Burke Kelsey Associates LTD: $582
Q: What is the Dawn Drive inverts survey?
A: There is a sanitary sewer transmission main that serves property off of Fabyan Parkway. The main is stubbed beyond the east lot line, but this information was incomplete on the City’s utility information. WBK collected that information, including calculating the main's slope, transmission capacity and assessed the feasibility of extending the transmission line to the east.
2) Sales Tax Sharing Agreements
Q: What year of each agreement are we in, and how long do they run?
A: There are three agreements. Dodson Place is in year 15 of 15 (the last payment will be remitted in the first quarter of 2020), Wauconda is in year 2 of 15, and MyNosh is in year 3 of 10.
3) Utility Refunds
Q: What are the large utility refunds for? Are the $12,997.30 refunds to the Holmstad and Geneva Place duplicates, or did both entities receive a refund? Why?
A: The large refund was due to an overpayment. The first check was issued to the name on the utility account. The customer notified the City the name was incorrect. Therefore, the check was voided and reissued under the correct name.
