A. Amend Chapter 6.37 of the Elgin Municipal Code, Rental Residential Property (No cost)

Objective: Adjust the current rental license program to increase transparency, consistency and improve customer experience.

B. Amendment to Chapter 9 of the Elgin Municipal Code Relating to Food Service Establishments, Food Refrigeration and Locker Plants and Automatic Vending Machines (No cost)

Objective: Incorporate amendments to updated Federal, State and County food codes into the City of Elgin’s Municipal Code.

C. Agreement with Seven Hills Technology, LLC for Web Portal Development Services ($218,000)

Objective Provide greater access to City information and transactions through the creation of a single, secure online portal.

D. Purchase of Services Agreement with Elgin Area Chamber of Commerce ($300,000 annually for three-year agreement with three percent increases in second and third years)

Objective: Contract with the Elgin Area Chamber of Commerce to provide economic development services including small businesses assistance, business retention outreach and foreign trade initiatives and other similar programs.
