City of Geneva issued the following announcement on Dec. 21.
People who need to conduct business with the City of Geneva should take note of our holiday hours.
City Hall and other City offices, with the exception of the Police and Fire departments, will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 24 to 25 for Christmas and Wednesday, Jan. 1 for New Year's Day.
During holiday weeks, garbage and recycling collection will take place one day later than normal. Here is the schedule for the next several weeks.

The City's leaf bag collection program concludes at the end of December.
Residents will be able to dispose of live Christmas trees for free the weeks of Jan. 6 and 13.
