City of Elgin issued the following announcement on Dec. 1.
Tomorrow, Elgin is proud to join in the worldwide effort to raise awareness and donations for non-profit charities doing impactful work for those in need on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, or GivingTuesday. And we strongly encourage supporting the specific mission of ELGIN GIVES, highlighting dozens of vital non-profit organizations doing good work in Elgin and surrounding communities.
