City of Elgin issued the following announcement on Nov. 24.
All are invited to the City of Elgin’s annual tree lighting ceremony at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, where Mayor Kaptain, members of City Council and Santa will turn on the holiday tree lights.
**NEW LOCATION: This year's event will take place at Festival Park, located at 132 S. Grove Avenue.**
