City of Elgin issued the following announcement on Nov. 4.
This evening, Kane County DOT crews will begin two weeks of work on the Randall Road Bridge over Tyler Creek. For this first week, construction work hours will be from 6:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. to minimize impacts to the travelling public. For next week, hours will shift to 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Temporary daily single lane closures are required to allow workers to safely complete this work.
