City of Batavia issued the following announcement on Nov. 1.
Come participate in the Batavia Small Business Forum hosted by the City of Batavia to encourage Small Business growth and success. Hosts will include the City of Batavia, Batavia MainStreet and Batavia Chamber of Commerce for the Kick-Off to the forum.
This gathering will be held on Wednesday, November 13th from 8:00-10:00 AM in the Batavia City Hall Council Chambers. Breakfast will be included. City of Batavia Department Heads will provide an overview of important topics pertinent to Small Business ownership in Batavia inlcuding:
• Building Codes and Permitting (Fire, ADA, Signage, Historic Preservation)
• Liquor Licenses
• Incentives and Assistance (SBDC, FVEC, etc.)
This program is the first in a series hosted in 2020. Each quarterly gathering will include detailed information about a different topic. The Kick-Off is an overview of those topics as well as a contact point for each of the City Staff individuals businesses may need to contact for questions and success.
