Continuing her commitment to fight for affordable medical care, State Representative Karina Villa, D-West Chicago, is sponsoring a Seminar on Medicare with AgeOptions. "I am working to build an Illinois that prioritizes the needs of senior citizens and middle-class families by reducing the outrageous costs of medical care and medication," Villa said. "Fighting for affordable medical care for seniors, many of whom live on fixed incomes, is part of my commitment to build a stronger Illinois."
Villa is inviting seniors and family members in our area to their Medicare Seminar next Thursday, October 31 at 10 a.m. at the West Chicago Library, which is located at 118 W. Washington St. AgeOptions Experts will give a presentation in Spanish about the different Medicare plans, new enrollments, important dates and answer questions about elderly care.
"It is very important to understand Medicare, the registration process and the different plans available," Villa added. “I urge seniors in our community to accompany me to this seminar to learn more about Medicare and the benefits they deserve.”
