Illinois State House District 65 issued the following announcement on Sept. 12
Today the Ageless Aviation Dreams Foundation (AADF) held a ceremony at DuPage airport to honor the military service of residents from Covenant Living at the Holmstad in Batavia. At the ceremony, Mayor Schielke of Batavia spoke and veterans were given Certificates of Recognition from the Illinois House of Representatives. They also participated in Dream Flights where they had the opportunity to fly in a Boeing Stearman biplane, the same aircraft used to train many military aviators in the 1940's.
