City of Aurora issued the following announcement on July 8.
The popular midweek Aurora Farmers Market opens for the season this week.
Conveniently located in the former Walmart parking lot at 2131 W. Galena Blvd., the first midweek market begins Wednesday, July 10 and will be open every Wednesday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. through September 11.
With more than 20 farm, food and artisan vendors providing fresh fruits and vegetables, delicious meals & desserts and beautiful homemade arts and gifts, there’s something for everyone.
"The midweek market is a wonderful complement to our downtown Saturday market," said Aurora Farmers Market Manager Karla Thomas.
The weekend Aurora Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. through October 21 in downtown Aurora at Water Street Square, 65 S. Water Street.
