2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Saint Charles?

There were 14 offenders released on parole during 2018 that live in Saint Charles zip codes, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Kane County Reporter.

The data shows that 13 men and one woman were released in Saint Charles. The median age of the parolees was 33. The youngest parolee was a 21-year-old woman sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2018, and the oldest was a 48-year-old man sentenced for a financial crime or fraud in 2016.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Jeremy D. Pesina. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2015 when he was 23 years old. He is now 27.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below shows the 50 cities in Illinois with the most paroled offenders in 2018.
