Hampshire home prices rise in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Hampshire rose by $6,950 while total sales decreased by 42.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were 16 homes sold, with a median sale price of $182,450 - a 4% increase over the $175,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 28 homes sold in Hampshire in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Hampshire for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $6,438, approximately 3.5% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
