State House race: Democrat Johnson wins voter tally in Elgin Township Precinct 56

Richard Johnson led Republican Dan Ugaste in votes cast in Elgin Township Precinct 56 for the District 65 state House race, according to the latest vote count.

Johnson appeared to outpace Ugaste by a margin of 16.6 percent on Tuesday in the precinct.
