CENTRAL COMMUNITY UNIT SCHOOL DISTRICT 301: School Shelf – A New Resource For Parents

Schoolshelf

Central Community Unit School District 301 issued the following announcement on Sept. 12.

In District 301, we want to equip our parents and guardians with tools and resources to help them support their students in areas such as academics, social-emotional growth, career planning, and more. As such, we have created a Parent Resources page on the district website to provide guardians with easy access to resources that may be helpful to them. You can find this page under the For Parents tab on the district website. This site is a work in progress and we will continue to add new resources as we have them available. If you are seeking resources that are not available on this page, please contact your school administrators and they will be happy to help you.

One resource we are excited to share with you is School Shelf, which offers a library of resources for parents and guardians organized by grade level and focus area. Guardians are encouraged to visit this site for practical guidance on how to support their students in areas such as subject-level struggles, social skill development, post-secondary options, life skills, kindergarten readiness, and more. You can find School Shelf by visiting the Parent Resources page on the district website, or you may click here to be directed to the site.
