City of Elgin issued the following announcement on Sept. 7.
In partnership with the American Legion, the City of Elgin will host a September 11th ceremony on the City Hall Plaza, located behind the Robert Gilliam Municipal Complex, on Tuesday, September 11 at 9 a.m. All are invited to attend this service to remember those in public service who lost their lives and to honor those who continue to serve today.
