Adultexercise

Dundee Park District Recreation and Fitness Center issued the following announcement on Aug. 16.

Getting older isn’t easy but our fitness staff are here to help you improve your overall level of fitness. If you are 50 years and older, join us for Chair Yoga, Tae-Chi/Qigong, and 50/50 Plus. Classes are 45-minutes in length and meet once a week. Register for one class or try them all.

Chair Yoga

This yoga is adapted to the needs of people with mobility issues by designing workable poses on a chair. These positions are aimed to enhance overall physical fitness and enable you to continue normal daily activities, engage in hobbies, perform coordinated movements to keep from falling, control pain and derive a sense of well-being.
