City of Elgin issued the following announcement on June 28.

4th of July Celebration Information - Wednesday, July 4, 2018

Registration for the parade is closed! Staging information will be emailed out by Friday, June 29th.

Parade Information

• Date/Time: Wednesday, July 4th at 9:00 a.m.
• 2018 Parade Theme: Ride the Wave
• Start/Finish Parade: Parade Starts at Slade & Douglas. Parade Ends at Douglas & Highland
• Estimated Parade Time: Approximately 2 hours long.

No parking on the parade route/staging area starting at 6:00 a.m.
