Central Community Unit School District 301 issued the following announcement on June 12.

Central District 301 hosted its first Parent University on Wednesday, May 30th, 2018. For those who couldn’t attend, we recorded the sessions to make available to anyone who may want to view them. Click the links below to watch the full session videos.

Social Anxiety and Its Effect on School Session Video – Dr. Eric Nolan, child and adolescent psychiatrist, discusses anxiety in students and how it impacts their learning, including school refusal.

Social Media Awareness Session Video – Phil Morris of the Kane County Regional Office of Education and Rebecca Jurs, Principal in District 301, share insight and information to help parents keep their students safe when using social media.

Navigating District Systems Session Video – District 301 staff share information about the resources used in the district, including the district website, mobile app, Canvas, Naviance, and Skyward. Click Navigating District Systems PPT Presentation to view the powerpoint from this session.
