Village of Lily Lake Board of Trustees met March 19.

Call to Order
President Overstreet called the Board of Trustees meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Roll Call
Present – President Rick Overstreet, Trustees Pam Conn, Mary Damisch, Tim Dell, Chris Vaughn, and Craig Walsh
Absent - Janet Marlovits
Also Present – Jesse Heffernan (Village Clerk), Alex McTavish (Village Attorney), Steve Zahn (Village Plan Commission Chair), Lisa Engberg (Village Treasurer), Erik Hoofnagle (Village Public Works Director)
Public Present – Mae Strobel, Cole Hoofnagle
Adoption of the Agenda
Motion by Pam Conn, seconded by Tim Dell to adopt the March 19, 2018 Agenda as presented.
Voice vote, motion passed unanimously.
Approval of the February 26, 2018 Regular Board Meeting Minutes.
Motion by Chris Vaughn, seconded by Mary Damisch to accept the minutes of the February 26, 2018 Regular Board Meeting as presented. Voice vote, motion passed unanimously.

Resolution 2018-07 Approving Quick Cut Lawn Service Fertilizer Proposal
Motion by Tim Dell, seconded by Pam Conn to adopt Resolution 2018-07. Same application as last 2 years, no need to go to bid since the amount is under $20,000.00. Roll Call vote, motion passed unanimously.
Resolution 2018-08 Approve License for Tim Metz to Mow the 5 Acre Village Field
Motion by Chris Vaughn, seconded by Mary Damisch to approve Resolution 2018-08. Field is the 5 acres between the Village Hall and the Simon Anderson Park along Empire Road. Mr. Metz will need to provide insurance for the mowing season. Mr. Wiesbrock mowed last year, but license was terminated in October. Roll Call vote, motion passed unanimously.
Resolution 2018-09 Approving a Contribution to Highway Life Music Fest/Lily Lake Grade School 100 Year Celebration
Motion by Pam Conn, seconded by Tim Dell to approve Resolution 2018-09. This year Highway Life will perform at the Lily Lake Grade School 100 Year celebration on June 10th, 2018. Last year the Village’s Community Relations contribution to Highway Life was $500, this year it will be matched. Roll Call vote, motion passed unanimously.
Approval of Monthly Bills
Motion by Tim Dell, seconded by Chris Vaughn to approve the Monthly Bills for February-March 2018. Roll Call vote, motion passed unanimously.
Old Business
Trustee Damish will call the County to get an update on the Kane County Market Special Use Request for expanded hours and alcohol service.
Clerk reviewed the year to date budget and noted 3 line adjustments within the same funds not affecting the overall appropriations. Building Maintenance, Park Electrical, Trail Ridge Maintenance all showed a slight overage but was able to be covered by other line items well below their appropriated amounts.
New Business
Appointment of Erik Hoofnagle to the Public Works Committee; motion by Tim Dell, seconded by Pam Conn. Mr. Hoofnagle has been serving on the Public Works Committee for many years and has accepted his nomination for appointment. His knowledge and expertise is a true asset to the village. Voice vote, motion passed unanimously.
