Unpaid fine for Sugar Grove-based campaign committee totaled $5,000 in January 2017

One campaign committee in Sugar Grove has an overdue fine of $5,000, records obtained by the Kane County Reporter show.

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that Citizens for a Better Fox Valley was the only campaign committee in Sugar Grove that was delinquent in payment for January 2017, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

The fine that Citizens for a Better Fox Valley has yet to pay was imposed on May 21, 2014, for failure to comply.
