Kane County's digital outreach coordinator recently praised the efforts of county Communications Coordinator Ken Stahr, including his work to release breaking news and day-to-day updates, according to the City of Geneva's website.
“A few years ago, when I was with Patch, it surprised me that Geneva took so long to get the word out when there was breaking news or an emergency the public needed to know about,” Rick Nagel wrote in an email to Stahr. “Now, without a doubt, you are leading the league.”
Nagel also complimented Stahr on ensuring that all material is kept up to date.
“And it's not just the breaking stuff where you excel," he wrote. "The day-to-day notices, website updates and overall communications are top notch.”
