Elburn Village Board met Monday, Nov. 14 to hold a special meeting on the tax levy ordinance.
The Village Board is comprised of six trustees elected at large, and the President of the Board of Trustees who is also referred to as the mayor. The term of all elected officials is four years.

PUBLIC HEARING LEVY ORDINANCE NO. 20.6-3
PRESENT: President David Burroughs, Vice-President Aimee Miller, Treasurer Stephanie Butler, Secretary Jenny Wold, Trustees M. J. Hansen, Kelly Gagne and Library Director Glenn Kahmann.
ABSENT: Trustee Phil Albano,
LATE ARRIVALS: NOrne,
ALSO PRESENT: Staffers Kathy Semrick, Suzanne Gemini and Jeanine McDonald. Also present was Auditor Brian LeFevre.
CAL TO ORDER President Burroughs called the Public Hearing of the Board of Trustees of the Town and Country Public Library District to order at 7:07 p.m.
ROLL CALL President Burroughs requested the roll be called. All Trustees were present, with the exception of Trustee Phil Albano.
PUBLIC COMMENT None.
PUBLIC HEARING ON LEVY ORDNANCE NO. 20.6-3 There were no visitors commenting on this Ordinance.
ADOPTION OF ORDENANCE NO. 2016.3 Secretary Wold moved to adopt Ordinance 2016-3, An Ordinance Providing for the Levying, Assessment and Collection of Taxes for the Tax Year 2016 of the Town and Country Public Library District, Kane County, Illinois. Trustee Hansen seconded the motion.
