The Geneva Community Mental Health Board will meet Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in
Geneva City Hall, Geneva, Illinois. The following items will be discussed:

considered in its normal sequence on the Regular Agenda.

RESOLUTION NO. 16-01
A RESOLUTION OF THE 708 GENEVA COMMUNITY MENTAL
HEALTH BOARD OF THE CITY OF GENEVA, ILLINOIS
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 10-01.
WHEREAS, the 708 Geneva Community Mental Health Board was authorized by
taxpayer referendum in 1989; and
WHEREAS, the authority given to the Mental Health Board through the City of
Geneva extends to all purposes statutorily granted to it by the State of Illinois; and
WHEREAS, in 2008, this Board, through the use of compiled capital funds and a
mortgage opened its first group home in the City of Geneva; and
WHEREAS, in 2010, this Board, passed a resolution allocating a minimum of
10% of the annual amount levied for a future capital project; and
WHEREAS, in 2016, this Board feels that the need is greater for annual
distributions than for future capital projects for the foreseeable future.
Now therefore, be it resolved by the Commissioners of the 708 Geneva
Community Mental Health Board that:
The 708 Geneva Community Mental Health Board does hereby rescind in its entirety its
Resolution 10-01, adopted on May 11, 2010, which stipulated 10% of the annual
amount levied be for future capital projects.
PASSED by the 708 Geneva Community Mental Health Board on this ___ day of
