Batavia Board of Police Commissioners examines officer hiring process

At a recent meeting, the Batavia Board of Fire and Police Commissioners discussed updating the police officer hiring process.

The board includes three members who are appointed by the mayor for voluntary three-year terms. The board appoints all of the city’s fire and police officers.
