A water service replacement is set to take place on Tuesday, June 24, leading to the closure of two traffic lanes on State Street (Route 38) from Anderson Boulevard to McKinley Avenue. The lane closures will start at 8 a.m., reducing traffic to one lane in each direction. The interior westbound lane and curbside eastbound lane will be closed for crews to access the water main located in the middle of the street and the home at 902 W. State St.

Motorists should anticipate delays and are advised to consider alternate routes. Drivers passing through the work zone are urged to slow down and remain cautious of construction workers present on the roadway.

The project aims for completion before the evening rush hour begins.

For further details, individuals can contact the Geneva Public Works Department Water Division at 630-232-1503.
