All are encouraged to tune in and honor those who have served in the United States Armed Forces. The ceremony will feature a welcome from Tricia L. Dieringer, words from Elgin Fire Chief Robb Cagann and Elgin Police Chief Ana Lalley and guest speaker Mayor David Kaptain. The ceremony will also include musical selections and representation from the American Legion Elgin Post 57.

The ceremony is being held in a virtual format this year due to restrictions imposed by the pandemic.
