City of Elgin issued the following announcement on Oct. 23.
Help us collect food for those in need THIS SATURDAY, October 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the northeast corner of the Gail Borden Public Library parking lot.
The 10th annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Food Drive will assist local residents during these challenging times.
Simply drive up and pop your truck and a volunteer will take the donations out of the trunk of your vehicle.
